SeekOut integrates with your Greenhouse account, allowing you to export candidate data from SeekOut and turn it into Greenhouse candidate profiles, complete with contact information and work/education history. SeekOut candidate data can be sent to Greenhouse as prospects, or it can be attached to an existing job.

Setting up the Greenhouse Integration
Before You Begin
Your Greenhouse account must have "Site Admin" permission and/or the developer permission "Manage ALL organization's API Credentials" enabled.
See the section in this Greenhouse article Configure User Setup Permissions in Greenhouse Recruiting for steps on how to set this up.
Your Greenhouse login and your SeekOut login must both use the same email address when setting up the integration.
Create your Harvest V3 Credentials in Greenhouse
Log in to your Greenhouse ATS.
At the top right corner, select the cog icon (Configure).
On the left hand side, select Dev Center → API Credentials.

On the API Credentials page, in the top right, select Create new API Credentials.
In the pop-up window, set API type to Harvest V3 (OAuth) and enter a Description. Then select View and store credentials.
A new pop-up will show your newly created credentials. Make sure to copy the Client secret, since once you close this window, that value will not be visible again. Once copied, select I have stored the client credentials.
Note: If you choose to restrict IP addresses, contact SeekOut Support via [email protected] for the list of SeekOut IP addresses.

Harvest API Permissions
In the Harvest V3 API (OAuth) page, select the Settings tab. Under Manage scopes, expand Harvest, then enable the following permissions:

Click Save at the bottom of the page when you're done.
Accessing Integrations
Pre-requisites: Greenhouse Harvest V3 credentials and SeekOut user has Integration Admin rights.
If you don't see the Integrations tab as shown below, please contact [email protected] to verify your admin status.
Click your name at the bottom left of the SeekOut dashboard, then select Integrations.
At the Integrations page, select the + (plus sign) to add new integration
A list of connectors will appear, look for Greenhouse Harvest then click the ‘Connect’ button:
A connection wizard will start. On the Capabilities tab, check the box next to Export. Then choose which additional options to enable:
Export only as Prospects: Check this if you don't want to export candidates directly to specific job postings, and instead want everyone sent to Greenhouse as a general prospect.
Enable Pools (Greenhouse Harvest only): Check this to allow exports to go into a specific prospect pool, rather than just a general prospect list.
Enable Prospect to a Job: Check this to allow a candidate to be exported as a prospect that's tied to a specific job, rather than just added as a general prospect or pool. This gives you the option to source someone into a job's pipeline early, before they're moved into full candidate/application status for that role.
Next, review the requirements on the Permissions tab and click I'm ready.
Enter your Greenhouse Harvest V3 credentials and click ‘Submit’
SeekOut will automatically attempt to verify your connection when you first set it up by exporting a test candidate as a prospect or to a job in the populated jobs list. Choose either Export as Prospect or select a job from the jobs list and click Verify.
When the ‘All Good’ message appears, click Finish and ensure the test candidate has been successfully added to your ATS.
When successful, Greenhouse will appear at the top of your Integrations page with a green check mark.
Exporting from SeekOut to Greenhouse
Note: You must use the exact same email for SeekOut and Greenhouse. Emails are case sensitive.

Export from a Workspace Shortlist or Project
To export all candidates in a Shortlist or project to Greenhouse, go to your SeekOut Shortlist or project, click the Export icon and choose Export All to Greenhouse.
Note: Contact information such as email addresses and phone numbers will only appear in your export if you click Get Email for All and Get Phone for All before exporting.
Alternatively, you can export select candidates from SeekOut by clicking the box next to their profile, clicking the Export icon, and then selecting Export X to Greenhouse. A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click Export to finish exporting your candidates.
Exporting with Greenhouse Harvest & Job Pools
When using Greenhouse Harvest with Enable Pools checked during setup, you have the option to export profiles from SeekOut in one of two ways.
As a prospect to a prospect pool: Select Prospect and choose a prospect pool from the dropdown menu.
As a candidate to a job posting: Select Candidate and choose a job from the dropdown menu.
Job Filtering: We will only show jobs labeled as Open.
What do dummy emails look like?
Checking Generate dummy email addresses before exporting will create a placeholder email for any candidate who doesn't already have one on their SeekOut profile. Generated emails look similar to:
Duplicate Profiles
SeekOut won't re-export candidates who've already been successfully exported. Exported candidates show a confirmation icon and your ATS name on their profile.
To export a candidate again, check Include previously exported candidates in the Export pop-up. Note that this can create duplicate records in Greenhouse.
Syncing between Greenhouse and SeekOut can take up to four hours during peak times (8a-10p ET).

Removing the Integration
Note: This is only ever necessary if you want to remove an existing connection.
On the Integrations page, click the integration to Edit or Remove the integration from your SeekOut account.
