Creating Custom Power Filters in SeekOut
Manually rebuilding the same searches can be time-consuming. SeekOut makes this easier by offering Custom Power Filters tailored to your organization. These filters give you one-click access to your most relevant talent pools.
What Can Be Included
Custom Power Filters can be built using:
Target companies
Target universities
Specific keywords for common roles
A combination of any of the above
Example:
schools:(University A OR University B OR University C)
How to Request a Custom Power Filter
To get started, send your desired Boolean search string to your Customer Success Manager or email [email protected].
If you provide a complete Boolean string, allow 1 working week for setup.
If you need help building the Boolean, allow 2 working weeks for completion.
This timeline ensures your CSM has time to test and validate the filter for accuracy.
Important Notes
Only SeekOut staff can create or edit Custom Power Filters. Users cannot modify the Boolean logic behind them.
Filters should be general enough to support flexible use. You can always refine your search further by adding keywords or Boolean logic (AND, OR, AND NOT) in the keyword box.
If multiple SeekOut license holders are part of your organization, please coordinate with your Admin or team lead to avoid duplicate requests.
