A Supervisor is a licensed Recruiter who is granted additional oversight capabilities. Supervisors keep their full Recruiter permissions and also gain access to team usage information.
Supervisors can:
• View usage reports for their team
• Monitor activity across assigned users
• View project activity and usage insights
Supervisors cannot:
• Add or remove users
• Change organization settings
• Manage licenses
• Access Admin-only tools
Admin
Admin users have full administrative control over the organization’s SeekOut account. This role is separate from Supervisors and may exist as either a licensed user or a free Admin-only account.
Admins can:
• Access all usage reports
• View and manage all users in the organization
• Add, remove, or deactivate accounts
• Manage license assignments
• Update team settings and configuration
• View billing-relevant usage (where applicable)
Admins cannot:
• Use Search, Messaging, Projects, Smart Match, or Insights if they are on a free Admin account
(Only licensed Admins with Recruiter access can perform sourcing tasks.)
To request Admin access for someone in your organization, email [email protected].

Hiring Manager
Hiring Manager accounts are free accounts meant for reviewing candidates.
They do not have access to Search, Messaging, Smart Match, or Insights, and cannot view candidate contact information.
Hiring Managers can:
• View projects shared with them
• Comment on candidate profiles
• Collaborate on evaluations inside shared projects
They cannot:
• Create their own projects
• Search the talent pools
• Pull contact info
Hiring Manager accounts are created when a recruiter shares a project with someone who does not have a SeekOut license. That person then creates a free account to access the shared project.
