SeekOut integrates with Oleeo, allowing you to export candidate data from SeekOut and turn it into Oleeo candidate profiles, complete with contact information and work/education history. Candidate data can be sent to Oleeo as prospects, or they can be attached to an existing job.

This article covers how to set up your integration, as well as how to export candidate info from SeekOut to Oleeo.

Before You Begin

Contact Oleeo support and tell them you want to integrate with SeekOut. Ask Oleeo to provide you with a username, password, and endpoint for a REST-based integration. Save this information to a safe place; you'll be entering it into SeekOut.

Setting up the Oleeo Integration

Connecting to Oleeo

On the Integrations page, locate Oleeo from the list and click the Connect button.

On the Capabilities tab, check the box next to Export. Click Confirm Choices to continue to the next step.

On the Credentials tab, enter the username, password, and endpoint you received from Oleeo support.

Click Submit to save your credentials, then click Next. SeekOut will automatically attempt to verify your connection when you first set it up by exporting a test candidate as a prospect or to a job in the populated jobs list. Choose either Export as Prospect or select a job from the jobs list and click Verify. When the ‘All Good’ message appears, click Finish and ensure the test candidate has been successfully added to your ATS.

When successful, Oleeo will appear at the top of your Integrations page with a green check mark.

Removing the Integration

On the Integrations page, click the arrow next to a connected integration to Edit or Remove the integration from your SeekOut account.

Exporting from SeekOut to Oleeo

Recommended: Export from a project

To export all candidates in a project to Oleeo, go to your SeekOut project, click the Export icon and choose Export All to Oleeo.

Contact information, such as email addresses and phone numbers, will only appear in your export if you click Get Email for All and Get Phone for All before exporting.

Alternatively, you can export select candidates from SeekOut by clicking the box next to their profile, clicking Export and then selecting Export X to Oleeo. With both methods, clicking Export to Oleeo will cause a pop-up window will appear.

You can select a job from the dropdown menu or export the candidates as prospects. If you don't have email addresses for all candidates, check the box Generate dummy email addresses for candidates. Click the Export button to export candidates to Oleeo. When successful, you will see a confirmation pop-up message that says "Export Complete."

Additional Notes

Duplicate Profiles

By default, SeekOut will not transmit profiles that have already been successfully exported. Candidates that have been exported will display a confirmation icon and the name of your ATS in their SeekOut profile.

Check the box Include previously exported candidate(s) if you're exporting the same candidates to your ATS again.

Note: Oleeo does support duplicate check functionality. If you export the same candidate twice, Oleeo will attempt to match the candidates and update their profile with new information.
