Career Compass uses machine learning and AI to curate your experience based on data points within your profile. What you'll see is based on the data Career Compass receives from your human resources information system (HRIS), combined with publicly available information from sources such as LinkedIn, GitHub, and more.
Note: Each company has unique configurations. This article covers the capabilities within Career Compass regardless of whether your organization is using them or not.
To access People, log in to Career Compass and select the People tab at the top of the page.
Searching for employees
You can search for employees by typing their name or email address into the Search by field.
Career Compass also has filters that you can click on to quickly see other employees who meet that criteria, such as previous company experience or team members who started at the company at the same time you did.
Viewing a profile
You can find and view an employee profile in several different ways.
Click on any employee while doing a search within the People feature
Click any employee in the "Meet the team" section of a job posting (see the article Career Compass - Jobs)
Click on the Project Owner within a Project (see the article Career Compass - Projects)
Click on an employee in the "Suggested connections" section of a role within Career Paths (see the article Career Compass - Career Paths)
Comprehensive People Profile
When you view an employee profile within Career Compass, you'll see a variety of information collected from your HRIS combined with publicly available data to create a comprehensive view of their experience, history, placement within your organization, and more.
When you're viewing your own profile within Career Compass, you can make changes and updates by clicking Edit Profile at the top of the page.
