Note: This feature is only available to People Managers.
My Team is a dedicated hub to help you better understand each employee that you manage – and your team as a whole. It provides a view of each employee’s Career Compass experience, current development goals, and skills.
Note: Each company has unique configurations. This article covers the capabilities within Career Compass regardless of whether your organization is using them or not.
Click on a person's name to see more information about that employee. Each employee's info is collected into five separate tabs: Skills, Career Interests, Learning, Career Paths, and Profile.
Skills
Within the Skills tab, you will see the skills an employee has, skills they want, and their competencies. Use this insight to identify skills gaps and recommend up-leveling where needed through dialogue or recommending learning content.
Career Interests
Within the Career Interests tab, managers will see the employee's goals, career aspirations, work type preferences, and more. See the article Career Compass - Profile for more on how an employee adds their Career Interests. You can use these insights to guide career development discussions with your employees.
Learning
Within the Learning tab, you will see recommendations that are surfaced to your employee based on their target skills, current role, or target roles.
From this tab you can also browse and suggest learning to your employee to assist with their career development.
The more complete an employee’s profile, the better their recommendations will be. These recommendations are refined and personalized based on the information each employee provides.
Career Paths
Within the Career Path tab, you will see your employee's current career path as well as the alternative Career Paths they see within Career Compass. If your employee has set target roles you can view those here as well as their respective career paths by selecting the target role. Use this information to drive meaningful and ongoing conversations about their career development.
Profile
View your employee’s Career Compass Profile under the Profile tab. If your employees have added additional information, such as prior work experience or education, you will see that on their profile. Use the information on this page to better understand their background and capabilities in the context of career development conversations.
