The system is generating a sample outreach message based on your setup. Once ready, you can review it before sending.
Running
When you click the Start Campaign button to begin a messaging campaign, your first messages will be sent out after 20 minutes. This allows you to pause the campaign and make last-minute adjustments before any mail is sent to candidates.
During this 20 minute period, the Candidate page will list each candidate status as Not Started and the first step as Running.
After the 20 minute period, SeekOut will start to send your messages. You can confirm that your messages are being sent out by checking the Sent folder of the email address you have linked to SeekOut.
Active
The campaign is currently running. Messages are being sent to candidates according to the schedule and settings you've configured. You can still monitor performance, but edits to the campaign may be limited once it's active.
Paused
The campaign has been temporarily stopped. No new messages will be sent until it's resumed, but existing data and settings remain intact. You can restart the campaign at any time.
Error
Something didn’t go quite right with your campaign—like a setup issue or a problem sending messages. The campaign isn’t running at the moment, but once the issue is resolved, you’ll be able to restart it. If you’re unsure what caused the error, feel free to reach out and we’ll help troubleshoot!
Bounced
The system was unable to deliver your message to any of the candidate’s available email addresses. Before marking it as bounced, the campaign will automatically cycle through all known emails for that candidate to find one that works. If none are successful, the status will switch to Bounced, and you’ll be automatically refunded one contact credit.
Unsubscribed
The candidate has opted out of receiving further messages. Once unsubscribed, they won’t receive any additional outreach from your campaigns, and their contact credit is automatically refunded.
