SeekOut lets you reach out to candidates in multiple ways. In addition to multi-step Outreach campaigns, you can send individual email messages directly from a candidate’s profile using the Quick Message feature.
Quick Messages work outside of Outreach campaigns and are ideal for targeted, one-off communication.
Important: Quick Messages are not tracked in the Outreach dashboard. SeekOut does not record opens or replies for these messages. If a candidate replies, the response will arrive in your connected email inbox.
Where You’ll Find Quick Message
You can send a Quick Message from multiple places in SeekOut:
From a candidate card in Search
From a candidate profile in Projects
From a candidate in Workspace (via the three-dot menu)
When in search and projects, you'll see the Quick Message button on the candidate card as shown below:
When in a Workspace, you'll see the option under the 3 dots on the candidate card as shown below:
First Time Setup: Connect Your Email
If this is your first time sending an email, you’ll be prompted to connect an email account. Follow the on-screen prompts to link your email before you can send a Quick Message. If you see a message to connect your email, pause and complete that step before continuing.

Getting the Candidate’s Email Address
Before you can send a message, you must retrieve the candidate’s email address by clicking Get Email. This uses one of your contact info credits and displays the best available address for that candidate.
Sending the Message
Once the email is visible, you’ll see two options for composing your Quick Message:
AI Messaging (Enterprise and Ultimate)
If your plan includes AI Messaging, this option loads a pre-generated message template crafted by SeekOut’s AI. The message is designed based on engagement indicators to help you start a conversation.
Example of initial AI message:
Very important: The AI message will include placeholders (often shown in red) that must be replaced with real content before you can send the message.
You will not be able to click Send Message until all placeholders in the subject and body are filled with your own text.
Customizing the AI Message
If you want to change the tone, length, or content of the suggested AI message, select Adjust to generate a new version.
Email Templates (All License Tiers)
If AI Messaging is not available on your plan or you prefer a saved template, choose Email Template. This loads a template you’ve previously created.
If you do not have any saved templates yet, you can create one right from this screen by selecting Create New Template.

Key Things to Know
Quick Messages are not tracked: SeekOut will not show open or reply stats for messages sent this way. Replies will go to your connected email inbox.
Placeholders must be replaced: AI Messaging and templates may contain placeholders that do not auto-populate from candidate data. You must manually fill in these fields before sending.
Emails are sent from your connected account: The message will come from the email address you connected during setup.
