SeekOut helps you identify candidates, find their contact information, and engage with multiple prospects at once with Candidate Outreach.
You can also send individual messages to candidates based on a template you've created.
How to Email a Candidate
Step 1: Creating Templates
Note: SeekOut users with an Enterprise license can use SeekOut Assist to generate a message without needing to create a template! See the section Messaging with Assist in our help center for more information on how this works.
First, you'll need to create a template. To do this, go to the Projects section of your dashboard, then select a project with an Outreach campaign that hasn't been started yet. Once you're in the project, click the Outreach Settings tab.
Scroll down and select Global Outreach Settings.
On the Global Outreach Setting page click on Emails.
Click on the + sign to create a new template. You can find your saved templates using the search box. You can also edit the template here.
When you've finished, enter a name for your template, then click Save.
You can only save one step as a template.
Attachments can't be saved to your template.
Step 2: Sending an Email
To contact a candidate in a project, click the Message button on their SeekOut profile. This opens the quick message window. Select your saved template from the list on the right and your template message will appear on the left. Placeholder variables in the message subject and body such as {{Candidate_Company}} will be replaced with the appropriate information from the candidate's profile.
Click the Get Email button to use a contact credit and retrieve the candidate's email address. See the article Contact Info Credits for more info on how credits are used and counted. Click Open in email to copy your template's subject and body into a new email in your computer's default email client for easy sending. You can also click Copy and select either Copy subject or Copy message to copy these fields to your clipboard, allowing you to paste your message into your email client or elsewhere.
