What do I do if I see an error message in my campaigns?

If campaigns pause or show errors, re-link your email to reset the SeekOut–email host connection.

If your campaigns are unexpectedly pausing, unable to be started, or generating other errors, you may need to reset the connection between SeekOut and your email host by re-linking your email account.

When SeekOut detects a connection issue with an email address used for Messaging, a notification will appear in the project’s Outreach tab.

Reset your Email Connection

Step 1: Remove the Existing Email Account

  1. Go to the Outreach Settings tab from the left navigation menu.

  2. Under Connected Email Accounts, locate the email you want to reset.

  3. Click the three dots on the right side of the email entry.

  4. Select Remove Account.

  5. In the pop-up window, click Disconnect twice to confirm.

⚠️ This action only removes the email from SeekOut Messaging. It does not affect the email you use to log in to SeekOut.

Step 2: Reconnect Your Email

  1. Click Link an Email Account.

  2. Follow the prompts to reconnect your email to SeekOut Messaging.

Once reconnected, your email should be fully integrated and ready to use again.
